Dr. Sathiyaraj ("Dr. Raj") is a proud native of the Rio Grande Valley and has been practicing medicine for over 6 years. For the past three years, he has been a valued member of the MyCare Medical Group. As an Internal Medicine specialist, Dr. Raj is committed to providing personalized care, taking the time to help patients understand and navigate the complexities of their medical conditions. He has a particular interest in managing diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Raj began his academic journey at Rice University in Houston, where he completed his undergraduate studies. He then earned a Master’s in Public Health from the Dartmouth Institute in New Hampshire. He obtained his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center.
Outside the office, Dr. Raj and his wife, Meyra, share a passion for exploring national parks, playing tennis, and stargazing through their love of astronomy.
